Community Happiness Day at Downtown Dubai

Set against a backdrop of vibrantly colored decor, twinkling fairy lights, cozy tents and the happiest vibes, it’s a market buzzing with entertainment of colorful clowns, marching bands, magnificent magicians, bouncy castles, trampoline rides & live games.

Scattered in this beautiful mix are multiple pop-up stalls serving the most delicious customary cuisines as well as experimental & fusion foods. Entry is free but the experience will be priceless!

Watch flamingos at Ras Al Khor

Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, is a wetland reserve renowned for attracting migratory birds in large numbers. The wetlands have large numbers of birds, crustaceans, small mammals and fish.

There are three bird reserves located on the sanctuary, but it’s the flamingos that steal the show in winter.

This definitely is a hidden gem at Ras Al Khor just at the the junction of the Al Wasl and Oud Metha roads. The viewing stations in the mangroves in an ideal location for the kids to view and marvel at the glorious pretty pink birds through fantastically sharp binoculars.

RISE: Dubai Creek Harbour

Rise at Dubai Creek Harbour returns for another season, from November until the end of March. So you have just 2 more weekends to make the most of this awesome location. This free-to-attend event, which runs every Friday and Saturday hosts activities and entertainment for the whole family, with live musical performances and a pop-up market. Open to all ages, there will also be film screenings, workshops, fitness classes, and activities for kids including arts and crafts and science workshops. There will also be food trucks and stalls on offer, in case you work up an appetite.

Rapunzel A Tangled Tale – Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre (DUCTAC)

Rapunzel A Tangled Tale uses a blend of experienced professional actors and technical crew from the UK with UAE based performers and juvenile chorus. A succulent mix of evil, comedy, music and dancing combined with colourful costumes and stunning scenery we will transport you to the magical world of Pantoland.
